Greeks and Romans were notoriously ambidextrous when it came to the bedroom. They also wore togas. Are there more gay men, proportionate to the population, in Scotland than in the rest of Europe? And if so, why? Could it be the prevalence of the kilt as a suitable mode of gentlemen's apparel? Or are there other reasons?
